Only recently heard this sad news. Just wanted to pass on my thoughts and love to Mr Muspratts family and friends. He was my old headteacher at Stanhope school and who I credit for first getting me into bird watching as a young child. If teachers were off sick our classes would either be split up or he would cover them and I remember him encouraging us to learn about wildlife but in particular bird spotting which I know he was always keen on. I'm still a keen bird watcher and often think of Mr Muspratt especially if I'm at Dungeness reserve. Thank you for being a great inspiration, RIP Sir.
